Moving is a LOT of work

Well...as many of you know Justin and I are in the process of buying our first house.  We are thrilled and excited, but have hit some speed bumps along the way.  We were supposed to close on our house June 11th.  Some things came up in the inspection that involved a MAJOR plumbing issue.  Long story short, our house has recalled plumbing in it and is part of a class action lawsuit out here.  The plumbing has to be entirely redone.  I'm talking ripping out walls, no water for 24 hours, etc.  The good news is that the builder is paying for this.  So we are not closing until we get a final guarantee that the plumbing will be redone so our pipes do not burst and leak and cause major water damage, especially in a two story house.

Meanwhile, we gave notice to our landlord we were moving and a potential tenant was scheduled to come by the townhome today to see if they were interested.  We frantically called our landlord and explained the situation and he was really great about the whole thing.  So, we have this place until the first of August.  The potential tenant was brought by today even though the house won't be available for about 6 weeks, so I spent 24 hours marathon cleaning.  That was no fun!

Needless to say, moving can be exciting, but it is still a LOT of work!!!
